Muncie TG8B-U6813-E1PH or TG8BU6813E1PH is a TG8 Series PTO, an 8-bolt, mechanical-shift power take-off built around a die-cast aluminum housing. A PTO sends engine power through the transmission to its own gearbox, and that gearbox turns auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic or vacuum pumps. Because the shift is mechanical, the driving gear has to be stopped before the unit is engaged. The input gear stays in constant mesh so engagement errors do not reach the transmission, the extra large shift cover opening lets you check backlash easily, and the rotatable hydraulic flanges leave room for a pump.
