TG8S-M6506-E3IX or TG8SM6506E3IX Muncie TG8 Series PTO, an 8-bolt power take-off with mechanical shift. The TG Series is Muncie's double-gear design: a constant mesh input gear keeps engagement errors from reaching the transmission, and the die-cast aluminum housing is lighter and quieter and sheds heat better than iron. The modular build and the extra large shift cover opening make it easier to service and to check backlash. A PTO draws engine power from the transmission and hands it to auxiliary equipment, usually a hydraulic pump, and the internal speed ratio sets how fast the output turns to suit that pump.
