The Muncie TG8S-U6804-A1IX or TG8SU6804A1IX is a TG8 Series PTO with an 8-bolt housing and mechanical shift. Muncie builds it in a die-cast aluminum housing that keeps weight and noise down and moves heat away, in a compact size that limits mounting interference. A power take-off draws drive from a gear in the transmission and hands it to auxiliary equipment such as a hydraulic pump, so the gear mesh is worth checking at install: a rattle points to unloaded gears vibrating against each other, and the extra large shift cover opening makes backlash checks easy.
