Muncie TG8S-U6806-P1PX or TG8SU6806P1PX is a TG8 Series PTO: an 8-bolt, mechanical-shift, double-gear unit in a die-cast aluminum housing. The constant mesh input gear shields the transmission from mistakes made during engagement, and the extra large shift cover opening makes backlash easy to check. A power take-off moves power from the engine through the transmission into its own gearbox, which can then drive auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic or vacuum pumps.
