TG8S-U6808-P1BX Muncie PTO is an 8-bolt, mechanical shift power take-off from the TG8 Series. Muncie builds the TG Series as a double-gear unit, available with 10 speed ratios, 13 shift types, 10 output shaft options and 11 input gears, so it can be matched to the speed, torque and horsepower needs of most applications.
The extra large shift cover opening gives easy access to check backlash, and rotatable hydraulic flanges maximize pump clearance. As a rule, a transmission-mounted PTO draws engine power through a gear that meshes with a gear in the transmission and passes it to auxiliary equipment such as a hydraulic pump.
