Per Muncie's own service-parts documentation (SP03-01.pdf), this shaft is part of a grouped series of Q/S shafts spanning part numbers 47TA4164 through 47TA4170, covering ratio options for CS(6/8)S and 6N/F configurations. The CS6/CS8 Series fits Allison 1000/2000 Series automatic transmissions as well as many manual transmissions, and supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" plus DIN 5462 direct-mount pump flanges.
