The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-W5XK or 489XRAHXW5XK, is an 8-bolt mount PTO engineered for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation, with an electric-over-air shift option also available. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series shares the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, uses tapered bearings for load handling, and is built in kit style for straightforward field service.
