The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRITX-A3XK or 489XRITXA3XK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern that bolts directly to compatible manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path present in many competing designs. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
