Permatex Disc Brake Quiet 80077 is a brake-pad treatment that cuts squeal by damping the vibration where the caliper meets the pad. The coating also protects against corrosion, works on anti-lock brake systems, and gives the pad a tighter fit that makes later disassembly easier. It is aimed at pads that do not come with anti-squeal shims.
