Permatex 80333 Muffler and Tailpipe Putty is a 4 oz. repair putty for exhaust work, made to close holes and leaks in mufflers, tailpipes and joints for good. Fumes stay sealed out at temperatures up to 2000°F (1000°C), and catalytic converters are fine with it. The package is a 2-pouch bonus pack. Work it into the damaged spot once the exhaust has cooled and the area is cleaned of loose rust and dirt, and back larger holes with wire screen.
