24210 is a Permatex threadlocker. It is a medium-strength anaerobic type that cures between close-fitting metal threads and keeps fasteners from backing off under vibration. The cured film also seals the threads and helps protect them from corrosion, and because the strength is medium, the fastener can still be taken apart later with ordinary hand tools.
It can take the place of stocked lock nuts and lock washers on general nut and bolt work.
