Permatex 82195 Ultra Grey Rigid High-Torque RTV Silicone Gasket Maker comes in a 13 oz. cartridge and is OEM specified for joints that see high torque and vibration. It is a one-part silicone that cures on exposure to moisture in the air, leaving a tough, flexible rubber gasket formed right on the flange.
Because it makes its own gasket, it can stand in for most cut gaskets on differential covers, timing gear covers, transmission pans, oil pans and valve covers. The cured seal holds up to oil, shop fluids and vibration, and the formula is sensor safe, noncorrosive and low odor. Temperature range is -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C) intermittent.
