The Permco 6430-2131-0006 or 643021310006 is a vane-style hydraulic pump for PTO hydraulic pump applications on heavy-duty trucks, sold as an individual unit. A vane pump moves oil with spring and pressure loaded vanes that slide around a cam ring inside the pump. When one starts to wear, it tends to show up as a loud noise under load with falling flow, oil sheen at the front of the pump, or an outlet line that runs noticeably hot.
