In the parts illustration it sits at the top of the shift knob assembly, above the retaining nut and washer. Our parts manual lists it in Spicer transmission models ES43-5A, ES43-5D, ES46-5A, ES52-7B, ES53-5A, ES53-5D, ES56-5A and ES56-7B.
