101-381-4 or 1013814 Spicer TTC Snap Ring is listed in our parts manual as the snap ring for the 1st speed thrust washer in the rear mainshaft group of the Spicer ES52-7B, ES56-7B and ESO66-7B transmissions, one per assembly. It is also carried in the service parts overhaul kits for those units.
On the rear mainshaft it holds the 1st speed thrust washer in place beside the 1st speed mainshaft gear. A snap ring seats in a machined groove, and its exposed edge acts as a shoulder that keeps the washer from sliding off.
