The Timken KWK99409 Kwik-Sleeve is a sleeve restore kit designed to repair worn yokes and shafts, eliminating the need to machine or replace the underlying component. By pressing or installing the sleeve over the worn sealing surface, it creates a fresh sealing surface for a standard lip seal to run against. This approach is common in heavy-duty driveline and axle service where the yoke or shaft journal has developed a groove or wear track from the original seal.
