4008712570 is a Wabco ADAS radar sensor, 2nd Gen, from the OnGuard radar kit line. The radar sensor is the forward-looking eye of a collision mitigation system, feeding the forward collision warning, adaptive cruise and automatic braking functions that run in the background while the truck is driven. Dirt, snow or ice on the sensor cover, a mount that has worked loose, or a unit that is out of alignment can cause poor readings, dropouts or fault codes. This is a genuine Wabco part from Pro Gear and Transmission.
