Wabco 8971205464 is an air brake chamber diaphragm with a 7.87 in diameter and a 1.73 in depth. In a brake chamber it is the flexible membrane that air pressure pushes against, and that movement drives the push rod out to apply the brake.
A leaking diaphragm lets air escape and weakens the brake, and a fully ruptured one leaves that brake ineffective, so a hissing chamber or a soft pedal is a reason to check it. This is a genuine Wabco part from Pro Gear and Transmission. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
