The Wabco 9253920680 Double Diaphragm is a Type 30/30 spring brake chamber, a combination unit that puts a service section and a spring brake section in one housing. The service side pushes air against a diaphragm to drive the push rod out and apply the brake in normal driving. The spring side is held back by air pressure while the truck rolls, and when that air is exhausted or lost the spring takes over to park the truck or stop it as a fail-safe.
