Wabco 4005003200 trailer ABS is part of the anti-lock braking system on a trailer, sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. Trailer ABS keeps track of how fast each wheel is turning and, when a wheel is slowing too quickly, limits the brake pressure to it so the wheel keeps rolling instead of locking.
The control unit reads the wheel speed signals and has the modulator release and reapply brake pressure many times a second until the wheel regains grip.
