This coolant expansion tank fits 2002-2007 Navistar 2000 Series and 4000 Series trucks and mounts in the cab area of the chassis. It is a PAI-made replacement sold as a one-each pack that includes a surge tank cap, covering both the overflow reservoir and its cap in a single purchase. The tank gives the cooling system room for coolant to expand when hot and holds the extra volume to be drawn back in as it cools.
