This air compressor is made by PAI as a replacement for the unit on Caterpillar 3306 engines. It mounts on the engine and pressurizes air for the brake system, feeding the reservoir tanks that supply braking and other pneumatic functions. It also fits certain Detroit Diesel and Mack applications, and is sold one per pack.
