This offset arm slack adjuster is sold as a 4-pack, with all four units included for applications originally equipped on Mack trucks. It mounts on the brake camshaft and uses its angled arm to adjust pushrod geometry, taking up slack as the linings wear to keep brake stroke and timing correct. As a foundation brake component, it rotates the S-cam to apply the brake shoes against the drum.
