This differential shim set fits Mack differentials and comes as a pack of 5 identical shims. It is used during carrier assembly and adjustment to help position gears and bearings, setting proper backlash and preload for correct gear mesh. The shims are intended for use where multiple pieces are needed to fine-tune fit during rebuild work.
