This front mainshaft fits Mack manual transmissions, carrying input torque from the front section into the auxiliary or rear gearing. It is a PAI-made replacement sold individually, and it's also offered as a complete kit that pairs the mainshaft with two retaining rings and a bearing to finish the front assembly. That kit configuration lets a shop replace the full front section rather than sourcing each piece separately.
