This is a wiper bracket built to the Mack 82277591 number for all Mack GU, CXN/CXU and CHU models. Our parts manual lists it as Bracket, Wiper in the Wiper - Motors and Brackets assembly of the windshield wiper and washer parts.
Wiper hardware depends on firm mounting so the motor and linkage can swing the arms through a smooth, even sweep. When parts in that drive area loosen or wear, it usually shows up as clanking from the motor area and uneven or failing wiper motion, so a bracket that is bent or cracked is worth replacing. Sold one each by Pro Gear and Transmission.
