AxleTech LW168 is a lock wire used on brake parts, engineered to OEM specs and sold by Pro Gear and Transmission as a genuine AxleTech part.
Lockwire is a positive locking method: it ties fasteners together so vibration cannot back them off. A wired fastener also gives a quick visual sign that it was tightened and has not moved.
