The Chelsea 489DRMCX-56RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off (PTO) unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft are standard for this series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
