The Chelsea 489QRMEX-56RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without requiring an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing shares internal parts with the 442 Series and delivers the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series offers intermittent torque ratings of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
