The Chelsea 489XLABX-A6XK is an 8-bolt mechanical shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and shares the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series supports wire/cable mechanical shift, delivers up to 55 HP intermittent output, and offers a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying service.
