The Chelsea 489XLABX-A5XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, engineered to bolt directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without requiring an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series while tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-handling capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and produces up to 46-55 HP output. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
