The Chelsea 489XQITX-A5AF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission aperture, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
