The Chelsea 489XWAHX-A5AF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and similar transmissions. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
