The Chelsea 524XMMEX-D-XK is a 524 Series rear-mount power take-off designed to mount at the rear aperture of compatible transmissions, helping eliminate clearance conflicts common with side-mount installations. The 524 Series uses a two-gear, compact housing design with three available speed ratios. Shift is pneumatic, with six shift options integrated directly into the PTO housing for a space-saving layout. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and output power of 49 to 57 HP measured at 100 RPM output shaft speed. Output flanges conform to DIN 5462 standards. Input adapters for this series are available to cover ZF, Mack mDrive, Volvo I-Shift, and Eaton Endurant transmissions.
