The Chelsea 524XVMEX-D-XK is a 524 Series rear mount power take-off designed to eliminate clearance issues by using the rear mount aperture available on select transmissions. The 524 Series features a compact two-gear housing with three available speed ratios and a pneumatic shift integrated directly into the PTO housing. Intermittent torque capacity for the series reaches 407 lb-ft (300 lb-ft intermittent per application rating). Output flanges mount directly to common pump configurations, and the output shaft conforms to DIN 5462 standards. Input adapters are available for ZF, Mack mDrive, Volvo I-Shift, and Eaton Endurant transmissions, giving this unit broad vocational coverage. Common applications include aerial, fire, refuse, tipper, and sewer and sanitation trucks.
