The Chelsea 524XTMEX-D-XY is a 524 Series rear mount power take-off designed to eliminate clearance issues by using the rear mount aperture available on select transmissions. The series features pneumatic shift with six shift options integrated into the PTO housing, a compact two-gear design, and three available speed ratios. Output is via a DIN 5462 flange or 4-bolt DIN 5462 mount, with the ISO 7653 80mm x 80mm mounting option. The 524 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 407 lb-ft and an output power range of 49 to 57 HP at 100 RPM on the output shaft. Input adapters are available for ZF, Mack mDrive, Volvo I-Shift, and Eaton Endurant transmissions. Common applications include fire, aerial, refuse, tippers, and sewer and sanitation equipment.
