The Chelsea 871XDQTP-B3RS is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic-shift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. A ductile iron bearing cap, 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 870 Series, pairs with an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to resist vibrational stress from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options cover a broad range of vocational demands, including fire and rescue, refuse, pumper-cleaner, and truck crane work. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to combine Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options in a single compact housing. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.

The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series PTO. Upgraded features over the 870 include the ductile iron bearing cap and o-ring sealing configuration. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of the following options: Wet Spline (extends PTO and pump shaft life), SmartStart (reduces shock load at start-up), and Quiet Gear (reduced noise input option).
