The Chelsea 871XEFJP-K3RS is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. Its compact housing reduces clearance concerns, and multiple assembly arrangements give installers flexibility in tight bays. The 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series and brings a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than the gray iron predecessor, an o-ring seal between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and support for Chelsea's Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options. The 871 Series is designed for demanding vocational markets including fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaner, and refuse equipment. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is available to protect driven equipment from overspeed damage.
