871XEFJP-D5BC Chelsea Power Take-Off

The Chelsea 871XEFJP-D5BC is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous duty applications. Its compact housing is built to minimize clearance issues, and nine available speed ratios plus thirteen output options give this series wide application flexibility. The 871 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap, 117% stronger than the gray iron used in the predecessor 870 Series, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist vibration. Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options are available within this series. Additional Information

The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series PTO. Improvements over the 870 include the upgraded ductile iron bearing cap and the o-ring sealing configuration. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of the following options in one platform: Wet Spline (extends PTO and pump shaft life), SmartStart (reduces shock load at start-up), and Quiet Gear (reduced noise input option). Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is also available to protect driven equipment. Typical market applications include fire and rescue vehicles, truck cranes, refuse trucks, and pumper/cleaner units.
