The Chelsea 871XEFJS-E5XV is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) and is rated for continuous-duty operation without derating. Its compact housing keeps clearance issues to a minimum, and the ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 870 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and guards against vibration-related wear. The series supports nine speed ratios and thirteen output options, making it adaptable across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane applications.

The Chelsea 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series PTO. Upgrades include the ductile iron bearing cap and the improved o-ring sealing configuration.
