The Chelsea 871XFFJP-D5BC is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. Its compact housing is engineered to reduce clearance conflicts during installation, and multiple assembly arrangements allow flexible mounting configurations. The 871 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and is the only Chelsea PTO line to offer Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options across the product range. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options are available within the series.

The Chelsea 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series PTO. Upgrades include the ductile iron bearing cap and o-ring sealing configuration. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of the following options across the line: Wet Spline (extends PTO and pump shaft life), SmartStart (reduces shock load at startup), and Quiet Gear input.
