The Chelsea 878XDQTP-M3AC is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 878 Series, built to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of torque in both intermittent and continuous duty applications, the highest torque capability in its package size. Key construction upgrades over the previous generation include a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and clutch pack steel discs increased in thickness by 80%. The cast iron housing and rotatable flanges reduce interference clearance issues, while a wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life significantly. Available output configurations include SAE B, SAE BB, SAE C, and DIN pump spline options. Pro Gear and Transmission stocks Chelsea PTO units for demanding vocational applications including refuse, aerial, vacuum, and snow and ice equipment.

Additional Information
The 878 Series is an engineered improvement on Chelsea's 877 Series PTO platform. The ductile iron bearing cap, thickened clutch disc pack, and o-ring housing seal work together to reduce the damaging vibrational effects produced by modern engine designs. Rotatable cast iron flanges lower interference risk during installation. The wet spline lubrication option provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life compared to standard configurations. A hose is included with the unit - no separate order required. Nine speed ratios cover a wide range of low- and high-speed hydraulic and mechanical drive applications across vocational markets.
