The Chelsea 288GDFJP-M3AC is a 288 Series heavy-duty constant mesh power take-off built on the 10-bolt mounting platform. It delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with ductile iron bearing caps that are 117% stronger than gray iron. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The round output shaft features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage caused by shaft couplings. This unit also supports Chelsea's Wet Spline lubrication technology, which circulates fresh oil through the PTO and pump shaft to extend spline life. Available in nine speed ratios covering both low and high speed ranges.

The 288 Series replaces Chelsea's 287 Series PTO. Upgrades over the 287 Series include ductile iron bearing caps (117% stronger than the gray iron caps used previously), an improved o-ring sealing configuration, and reduced interference clearance through rotatable cast iron flanges. Applicable markets include snow and ice control, vacuum, aerial, and refuse equipment. A hose is included with the unit.
