The Chelsea 878XKFJW-M5RK is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 878 Series, engineered to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of torque in a compact package, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load. Steel disc thickness within the clutch pack has been increased by 80% over the predecessor 877 Series design. Nine speed ratios are available across the series, including low and high speed options. Output shaft options across the 878 Series include SAE B, SAE BB, and SAE C pump splines, as well as companion flange and DIN flange configurations. The 878 Series supports continuous duty operation and is suited for snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse applications. The series features rotatable cast iron flanges to reduce interference fit issues and positive-stop driveline outputs that protect oil seals from coupling damage. A wet spline lubrication option is available, which provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life compared to dry spline configurations. A hose is included with the unit.
