The Chelsea 890XEFJW-N5AC is a hydraulic PowerShift Power Take-Off built on the Chelsea 890 Series platform, designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 890 Series relocates the PTO and pump mounting flange to the rear of the transmission, improving pump clearance in tight frame-rail installations. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses a one-piece main shaft, eliminating input splines between the PTO body and the output extension. The SAE C output flange runs a Wet Spline design to extend pump spline service life in demanding duty cycles. Typical applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue units, refuse trucks, and truck cranes. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.

Additional Information
The Chelsea 890 Series is a single-unit PTO, not a PTO paired with a separate extension. The clutch is positioned at the rear of the unit, allowing the housing and gear section to sit close to the transmission for improved clearance between the transmission and frame rail. The 890 Series can be configured for transmissions equipped with or without a cooler, retarder, or both.
