The Chelsea 871XDFJP-N5AC is a 10-bolt, hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. A compact housing minimizes clearance concerns, and the ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 870 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of engine vibration. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output configurations offer flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane applications. The 871 Series is available with Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options.
