The Chelsea 890XEFJW-N5XY is a hydraulic PowerShift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 890 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 (MD) and 4000 (HD) Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt flange and uses a one-piece main shaft that eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension, positioning the pump mounting flange at the rear of the transmission for improved clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. The SAE C output runs Wet Spline Technology to extend PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. The 890 Series delivers 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 501+ lb-ft. The 890 Series is a single-unit design, not a PTO paired with a separate extension. The clutch sits at the rear of the PTO housing, allowing the gear section to tuck tightly against the transmission for maximum frame-rail clearance. An additional support bracket mounts at the rear of the transmission. The 890 Series can be configured for transmissions equipped with or without a cooler, a retarder, or both.
