The Chelsea 899CCFJW-M3ZS is a constant mesh Power Take-Off built specifically for Allison 4700 Series transmissions. Part of the 899 Series, it mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the SAE C pump flange at the rear of the transmission, improving clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. The output shaft is an SAE C 1-1/4"-14T pump spline with Wet Spline Technology to extend service life under demanding duty cycles. The 899 Series delivers intermittent torque ratings above 501 lb-ft and output power above 56 HP, making it well-suited for aerial trucks, fire and rescue apparatus, truck cranes, and refuse trucks. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.

Additional Information

The 899 Series is engineered as a single-unit PTO, not a PTO with a separate extension. Its one-piece main shaft removes the input splines between the PTO body and the output, reducing potential wear points. The housing tucks tightly against the transmission while the pump interface extends rearward, creating clearance space between the pump and the frame rail. An additional support bracket at the rear of the transmission is included as part of the mounting arrangement. The 899 Series can be configured for transmissions equipped with a cooler, a retarder, both, or neither. Typical markets include aerial, fire and rescue, defense, on-highway, and other mobile applications.
