The Chelsea 489DFMCX-V6XV is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path and delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, with tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability compared to needle-bearing designs.
