The Chelsea 489GHAHX-A5RY is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings for load-bearing strength and shares internal parts with the 442 Series for straightforward servicing.
